Via detours such as external service providers, cloud solutions and usually a large number of technologically complex and expensive devices. We think there is a better way. SHIFTmu – Characteristics of Universal Computing
Your tablet doesn't have to be 'smart' (synonymous with expensive and less sustainable) if your smartphone already is.
The performance of a smartphone can already cover all office applications today. It just needs a bigger screen.
Peripherals and displays only have to guarantee operation and display, but not be able to calculate themselves.
A notebook would only have to consist of a keyboard and display. The computing power could also be taken over by your smartphone, which you carry with you anyway.
The reduction of our areas of application to a 'smart' device saves enormous amounts of CO2, packaging and electronic waste.
NOTE: SHIFTmu is still in project status!
SHIFTmu is our future project. The development status of this project is primarily linked to a suitable processor that can cover the requirements of the universal computing concept. You can find all information about the exact steps of production on this page or in our newsletter.
SHIFTmu
The SHIFTmu smartphone is the basis of our universal computing concept. It can be ordered individually and, if required, can later be expanded to an all-in-one device with additional accessories (such as a hub, keyboard, tablet monitor, etc.).
SHIFTmu - Set
The SHIFTmu is also available in a bundle. So with everything that goes with it. The complete set includes SHIFTmu (smartphone), mobile tablet screen, mobile keyboard, SHIFTpen, hub and power adapter.

22.8.2022 - First pre-order phase successfully completed!
We are very grateful that we have already collected enough pre-orders for the SHIFTmu and have successfully reached the first financing threshold. Since we would like to wait for the upcoming developments for further price calculation, we have paused the pre-order option for the time being. Detailed information on this can be found in the SHIFTmu newsletter dated August 22, 2022.
